STEP 1 – Learn ISO 9001 Online
Learn how to become a professional ISO9001 auditor in the comfort of your own space, at your own pace, anywhere where there is an internet connection at a time to suit your diary.
The course is a mix of online instruction consisting of videos and interactive exercises (3 days), and live workshops led by an experienced auditor and trainer (2 days).
There are 19 lessons which includes videos, interactive exercises and live remote trainer sessions to help you learn quickly and efficiently, along with practice exams to help you get ready for the certification exam. All of the video lectures are recorded, so you can study at home, at work, or any other convenient place any time of the day to suit YOUR schedule.
Re-watch online material as many times as you wish to strengthen your knowledge.
Course videos are of the very highest quality, instructed by highly experienced trainers and auditors, who have a wealth of commercial and industrial experience. All instructions are clearly spoken by real auditors – UK Nationals whose first language is English and have a thorough command of written and spoken English language. *We do not use text to speech robots for any course material as used by some other providers.

STEP 2 – Attend the Interactive Workshops (2 DAYS)
After Step 1 has underpinned the theory and background knowledge, the second step is to acquire the practical knowledge on how to actually perform the certification audit. Roleplay, case studies, and other activities enhance learning efficiency.
You will also learn the soft skills needed to excel as a Lead Auditor and to prepare for the certification exam. Soft skills are non-technical skills that relate to how you work, how you interact with colleagues, how you solve problems, and how you manage your work. These include interpersonal (people) skills, teamwork, communication skills, listening skills, problem solving, time management, critical thinking, conflict resolution and empathy, among others.
Your will learn face-to-face from a trainer with over 25 years experience of auditing in both public and private sectors as well as commercial and industrial environments. You will be able to ask questions directly, and get practical knowledge and ‘insider tips’ of how to do well at the exam and be a really effective auditor.

STEP 3 – Pass Assessments and Exam
To pass successfully candidates need to score 70% on the continuous assessment conducted by the tutor, and a minimum of 70% in the 2-hour CQI & IRCA eAssessment examination, which is held on the final day.
On successfully passing the course you will be awarded an IRCA CQI ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certificate in your name and become a 9001:2015 Qualified Lead Auditor.

If you don’t have this knowledge we recommend that you attend our ISO 9001 foundation course.

You are also required to obtain beforehand a printed copy of ISO 9001:2015 standard (not supplied).
The order of this course is to;
- Complete the online modules
- Attend the live remote or onsite workshops
- Take the online exam
There is no time limit for the study. You can take as long as you need to watch the video lectures and complete the activities. However, we recommend that you complete them all within 2-4 weeks to maintain momentum and get the most benefit from them.
The workshops are pre-set dates.
Following the workshop you can book a convenient date for the certification exam. You will take the certification exam online, from your home, your workplace, or anywhere else that has an internet connection and is convenient for you. An online proctoring service is used to ensure the integrity of the certification process.

Yes, you will need to complete all of the video lessons beforehand.
Complete all online, self-paced course modules and obtain 70% or higher in the final assessment.
Fully attend the virtual or classroom workshop element as 100% attendance is required.
Obtain 70% or higher in the course continuous assessment during the virtual or classroom modules.
Pass the final exam:
Completed Remotely or In-Person. Each Trainee must obtain 70% or higher in a 2-hour CQI & IRCA eAssessment which is completed securely online (under strict examination conditions).
Online Training:
We recommend to complete the course using a large screen device such as a desktop PC or laptop. Some tablets may be suitable but we don’t recommend using a mobile device as the screen is too small for efficient learning.

To participate in the virtual training sessions, you will need:
